Destrier Pro Company DetailsThe quality of our shows and equipment are of paramount importance The Destrier Pro team is the only fully plate armoured jousting team in the country that incorporates harness of armour ranging from £15,000 – £35,000. All of our clothing and equipment for all our events are based on original historical material. At our jousting shows, we use real wooden lances and scoring systems based on historic records.
The Destrier Pro team can offer you a complete flexible professional package from initial briefing to the final display. We offer your visitors, guests or clients a breath taking range of arena shows and will be on hand throughout the day to display our period armours, clothing, accoutrements and weapons within an appropriate historical setting. You can choose from a small jousting show, which can be set up within 15 minutes, or a full historical display, which can be available for the whole day to provide a complete and memorable jousting tournament arena. The Destrier Pro team can offer a varied range of shows from armoured knights to victorian calvary, providing flexible options to augment or highlight your programme. b. Insurance, Health & SafetyDestrier Pro is underwritten by Syndicate 33, at Lloyd’s and is managed by Hiscox Syndicates Limited. We are insured for up to £5,000,000 and have an employer’s liability of £10,000,000. Destrier Pro has a 100% safety record. c. Horses and ShowsDestrier Pro Ltd uses a range of horse types within its shows. Each horse is trained to an exceptionally high standard and to keep our horses, keen and fresh they are constantly rotated. Their training continues throughout the year and although riders develop personal relationships with particular animals, they will ride different horses during a season. Horses and riders train throughout the year, in order to hone their skills. |
